Clairmont Road is a thoroughfare in the state of Georgia in the United States that connects the city Decatur to the city of Chamblee in metropolitan Atlanta, in a north/south direction. In the city of Decatur, where Clairmont originates at a "T"-intersection with Ponce de Leon Avenue, it is called Clairemont Avenue. Clairmont Road is mile 91 of Interstate 85 which passes over Clairmont Road, just north of Briarcliff Road, in a northeast/southwest direction. From Commerce Drive in Decatur to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Chamblee, Clairmont is also designated Georgia State Route 155. From Decatur to Buford Highway, Clairmont Road is also known as U.S. Highway 23. However, U.S. 23 diverges from Clairmont Road at the Clairmont and Buford Highway intersection, and from northeast of that point Buford Highway is designated U.S. Highway 23.
